नई दिल्ली/देहरादून। देहरादून-नई दिल्ली शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस के एक कोच में शनिवार को उत्तराखंड के रायवाला और कांसरो रेलवे स्टेशन के बीच आग लग गई। अधिकारियों ने यह जानकारी दी। कोई भी यात्री घायल नहीं हुआ है। दिल्ली में रेल मंत्रालय के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने कहा, “उत्तराखंड में कासंरो और रायवाला रेलवे स्टेशनों के बीच नई दिल्ली-देहरादून शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस में दोपहर लगभग 12.20 बजे आग लगने की सूचना मिली।”
उन्होंने कहा कि सी-5 कोच में आग लगने की सूचना मिली। ट्रेन शनिवार सुबह देहरादून के लिए नई दिल्ली से रवाना हुई थी।
उन्होंने कहा कि लोको पायलट ने आग बढ़ने से पहले ही इमरजेंसी ब्रेक लगाकर ट्रेन जंगल के बीच में ही रोक दी। तत्काल कोच सी-5 को खाली कराया गया। इसके साथ ही कोच को ट्रेन से अलग कर अन्य कोचों को सुरक्षित बचा लिया गया।
उन्होंने कहा, “कोच के कुल 35 यात्रियों को अन्य कोचों में शिफ्ट और एडजस्ट कर दिया गया।”
अधिकारी ने कहा कि कुछ समय बाद, सी-5 कोच के यात्रियों के साथ ट्रेन आगे की यात्रा के लिए रवाना हुई।
