लखनऊ। कोरोना संक्रमण के बढ़ते संक्रमण पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण के लिए एक बार फिर वीकेंड कोरोना कर्फ्यू को यूपी में बढ़ा दिया गया है। शनिवार को मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने प्रदेश में 24 मई तक लॉंकडाउन बढ़ाने पर सहमति दे दी। इससे पहले सरकार ने वीकेंड कोरोना कर्फ्यू को 17 मई सुबह सात बजे तक बढ़ा दिया था। प्रदेश मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक आज शाम को हुई जिसमें यह फैसला लिया गया।
प्रदेश में 30 अप्रैल से कर्फ्यू लागू है। शुरू में इसे 3 मई तक लागू रहना था, लेकिन बाद में इसकी अवधि 6 मई तक बढ़ा दी गई थी। बाद में इसे और विस्तार देते हुए 10 मई तक कर दिया गया था और जिसे अब बढ़ाकर 17 मई किया गया है। बता दें कि यूपी में 30 अप्रैल के बाद से ही आंशिक कोरोना कर्फ्यू है। इसका असर यह हुआ कि कोरोना के सक्रिय मामलों में 60 हजार की कमी आ गई है। यही नहीं, उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार 18 से 44 साल के लोगों का कोविड वैक्सीनशन कराने के लिए तेजी से काम कर रही है।
यूपी में बीते 24 घंटे में 15,747 नए संक्रमित मिले हैं। इस दौरान 312 लोगों ने कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण के कारण दम तोड़ दिया है। बीते 24 घंटे में जहां 15,747 लोग संक्रमित हुए हैं, वहीं 26,179 लोग इसके संक्रमण से ठीक होकर घर जा चुके हैं। प्रदेश में अब तक कोरोना के कहर के कारण 16,957 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है।
