चिक्कामगलुरु। पुलिस ने एक दुखद और चौंकाने वाली घटना बताई जिसमें एक 72 वर्षीय सेवानिवृत्त सहायक तहसीलदार ने कथित तौर पर कोविड के लिए सकारात्मक परीक्षण के बाद सोमवार को खुद को सिर में गोली मार ली।
पुलिस ने कहा कि उसके सुसाइड नोट का मार्मिक बिंदु यह है कि वह इस बात से बहुत परेशान था कि उसकी पोती और उसकी बेटी उसकी वजह से कोरोना पॉजिटिव हो गए थे।
सुसाइड नोट में उन्होंने कन्नड़ में लिखा, “मैं अपनी प्यारी गुड़िया, अपनी प्यारी पोती और अपनी बेटी के लिए इस खतरनाक बीमारी को प्रसारित करने के लिए खुद को कभी माफ नहीं कर पाऊंगा। मैं उनका दर्द नहीं देख पा रहा हूं।”
अपने सुसाइड नोट में उन्होंने आगे लिखा मैंने सारी उम्मीद खो दी हैं, मैं वृद्ध हूं। अपनी अंतिम इच्छा भी व्यक्त करता हूं कि मेरे खेत में मेरा अंतिम संस्कार किया जाए और यदि परिवार मेरे दाह संस्कार का गवाह बनना चाहता है, तो उन्हें भाग लेने की अनुमति दी जानी चाहिए।”
उन्होंने अपनी पत्नी, दामाद, पोती और बेटी से भी क्षमा मांगी।
घटना चिकमंगलूरु के तारिकेरे तालुक के बेलेनहल्ली टंड्या में हुई। इस छोटे से गांव में 220 से अधिक घर हैं और सिर्फ 1000 से अधिक लोगों की आबादी है। यह गांव दक्षिणी राज्य की राजधानी बेंगलुरु से लगभग 250 किलोमीटर दूर है।
