मथुरा । रविवार को उत्तर प्रदेश फायर पुलिस सर्विस मथुरा के अधिकारियो द्वारा यमुना मिशन के तत्वावधान में यमुना पथ जयसिंह पुरा क्षेत्र में वृक्षारोपण किया गया जिसमें जिला अग्निशमन अधिकारी प्रमोद शर्मा ने अपने समस्त स्टाफ के साथ वृक्षारोपण किया। इस अवसर पर जिला अग्निशमन अधिकारी प्रमोद शर्मा ने कहा कि यमुना मिशन एक ऐसी संस्था है जिन्होंने पर्यावरण के क्षेत्र में काम करके एक ऐसी पहल की है जिसे भविष्य में लोग याद रखेंगे क्योंकि इस तरह से काम करना अपने आप में एक मिसाल है। ग्लोबल वार्मिंग बढ़ती जा रही है, नदियों में प्रदूषण बढ़ रहा है और यमुना मिशन दोनों ही विषयों को लेकर अच्छा कार्य कर रहा है और जब जनपदवासी जब यहाँ इन वृक्षों के बीच आकर घूमेंगे तो उन्हें स्वास्थ्य लाभ के साथ-साथ,चित्त की प्रसन्नता भी मिलेगी। यमुना मिशन के संस्थापक प्रदीप बंसल को भी उन्होंने यमुना मिशन के पुनीत कार्य के लिये शुभकामनाएं दी।
इस अवसर पर यमुना मिशन कार्यकर्ता अरुण शर्मा रश्मि शर्मा प्रहलाद सिंह रूपेश चौधरी गजेंद्र चौधरी सागर यादव द्वारा सभी को पटका पहना कर स्वागत किया गया।
