मथुरा। शहर के पॉश इलाके डैंपियर नगर में बुधवार शाम को वृंदावन की पूर्व सभासद में दिनदहाड़े मोटरसाइकिल सवार बदमाशों ने गोली मार दी। घटना सलेक्शन गारमेंट्स के समीप की बताई जा रही है। घायलावस्था में पूर्व सभासद को नयति अस्पताल ले जाया गया है। जहां उनकी उपचार के दौरान मृत्यु होने की खबर है। घटना की सूचना पुलिस विभाग में हड़कम्प मच गया , आनन फानन में मौक़े पर भारी संख्या में अधिकारी पुलिस बल के साथ पहुंच गए। बदमाशों को पकड़ने के लिए जगह जगह चेकिंग की जा रही है। एसपी सिटी एमपी सिंह ने बताया कि डैंपियर नगर में एक कार में वृंदावन की दो महिला और एक पुरुष खरीददारी करने के लिए आए थे। तभी बाइक सवार दो लोगों ने महिला को गोली मार दी है।
बुधवार शाम को वृंदावन की पूर्व सभासद मीरा ठाकुर मथुरा के डैंपियर नगर स्थित सलेक्शन गारमेंट्स के समीप खरीददारी करने के लिए जा रही थी। तभी अज्ञात मोटरसाकिल सवार बदमाशों ने उन पर गोली चला दी। गोली उनके पीठ में लगी है। गोली लगते ही वह सड़क पर गिर गईं। आसपास के लोग घटना स्थल की ओर दौड़े। अफरा-तफरी के बीच बदमाश मौका पाकर भाग खड़े हुए। मोटरसाइकिल सवार हमलावर दो बताए जा रहे हैं। स्थानीय लोग पूर्व सभासद को नयति अस्पताल ले गए। पूर्व सभासद मीरा ठाकुर नगर निगम के सभासद ठाकुर लीलाधर सिंह की बहन है। गत माह वह वृंदावन की नवीन उप मंडी के अध्यक्ष पद की प्रत्याशी भी रही हैं।
कोतवाली प्रभारी ने बताया कि डैंपियर नगर में वृंदावन निवासी महिला मीरा ठाकुर को बाइक सवार दो बदमाशों ने गोली मारी है। घटना स्थल और उसके आसपास के सीसीटीवी कैमरे खंगाले जा रहे हैं।
