लखनऊ। प्रदेश में चल रहे सबसे बड़े टीकाकरण अभियान (Corona Vaccination Drive) में अब मीडियकर्मियों (Media Persons) और उनके परिजनों को खास तवज्जो दी जाएगी। कोरोना वारियर्स की तरह इस आपदा की घड़ी में दिन रात कवरेज कर रहे मीडियकर्मियों व उनके 18 साल से ऊपर के परिजनों के वैक्सीनेशन के लिए मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने अलग से सेंटर अलॉट करने का निर्देश दिया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा है कि हो सके तो मीडियकर्मियों के ऑफिस पर जाकर या फिर अलग सेंटर अलॉट कर 18 साल से ऊपर वाले मीडियकर्मियों व उनके परिजनों का टीकाकरण किया जाए।
गौरतलब है कि यूपी में तेजी से बढ़ रहे कोरोना संक्रमण की चपेट में मीडियाकर्मी और उनके परिजन भी आ चुके हैं। बड़ी संख्या में मीडियाकर्मी अभी भी कोरोना संक्रमित हैं। इतना ही नहीं अभी तक काफी पत्रकारों की मौत कोरोना संक्रमण की वजह से हो चुकी है। ऐसे में मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने मीडियकर्मियों की सुरक्षा के लिए अधिकारियों को यह निर्देश दिया है।
ज्ञात रहे कि भारतीय प्रेस परिषद के सदस्य वरिष्ठ पत्रकार अशोक नवरत्न ने मुख्यमंत्री को पत्र लिखकर पत्रकारों को कोरना वैरीयर का दर्जा देने के साथ-साथ उनकी मृत्यु पर 25 लाख रुपए की सहायता धनराशि एवं फ्री कोरोना वैक्सीन लगवाने की पत्र द्वारा मांग की थी। इनके अलावा इसी प्रकार की मांग एन यू जे आई के राष्ट्रीय सचिव कमलकांत उपमन्यु ने की थी।
