अलीगढ़। नगर निगम के वर्कशॉप विभाग में पुराने कंडम ईथन ड्रम को उपयोगी बनाने के क्रम में नगर आयुक्त प्रेम रंजन सिंह के निर्देश पर नगर निगम वर्कशॉप ने अभिनव पहल करते हुए पुराने कंडम ड्रमो को काटकर उन्हें आकर्षक गमलों का रूप देने की शुरुआत की है। पिछले दो दिनों से वर्कशॉप में लोहे के ड्रम को काटकर उन्हें गमले के रूप में प्रयोग करने के लिए बनाया जा रहा है। वहीं दूसरी ओर संचारी रोगों की रोकथाम को देखते हुए नगर निगम वर्कशॉप ने घर से निकलने वाले हजार्ड वेस्ट जैसे मास्क, ग्लव्स, सैनेटरी पैड आदि को एकत्र करने के उद्देश्य टीन के डिब्बों से आकर्षक छोटे कूड़ेदान बनवाकर टेम्पो टिपर के पीछे लगवाया है।
नगर आयुक्त प्रेम रंजन सिंह ने बताया नगर निगम द्वारा महानगर के प्रमुख कूड़ा विलोपित पॉइंट को सजाने के उद्देश्य लोहे के कंडम ड्रम का उपयोग गमलों के रूप में करने के लिए नगर निगम वर्कशॉप ने एक अभिनव प्रयास किया है। उन्होंने कहा छोटी-छोटी अनुपयोगी चीजें स्मार्ट सोच से उपयोगी बन सकती हैं हमें अपने घर आस पास चीजों को ही रिसाइकिल करने की सोच को स्मार्ट बनाना होगा तभी शहर और पर्यावरण स्वच्छ और सुंदर बनेगा।
