मथुरा। युवा अधिवक्ता ओमवीर सारस्वत ने बार एसोसिएशन को लिखे पत्र में कोरोना महामारी को लेकर जुलाई में होने वाले बार के चुनाव अगले साल मार्च में कराने की मांग की है। पत्र में श्री सारस्वत ने अध्यक्ष / सचिव बार एसोसिएशन को अवगत कराया है कि कोरोना महामारी के कारण देश में अकाल मृत्यु रोजाना हो रही हैं कई अधिवक्ता मथुरा में भी इस महामारी के कारण स्वर्ग वासी हो गए है ।
बार एसोसिएशन के चुनाव की तारीख 31 जुलाई 2021 नजदीक आ चुकी है। सभी पदों के भावी प्रत्याशी लगातार चुनाव प्रचार कर रहे हैं। देश के कई राज्यों के साथ-साथ प्रदेश को भी चुनाव की राजनीति ने कोरोना महामारी का शिकार पहले ही बना दिया है। अगर बार एसोसिएशन भी वार्षिक मतदान को 31 जुलाई 20 21 को निर्धारित समय पर ही कराती है तो निश्चित रूप से इस महामारी का शिकार अधिवक्ता साथी और उनके परिवार भी प्रभावित हो सकते है। मतदान कराए जाने के कारण अगर किसी अधिवक्ता साथी की या परिवारीजन की जान चली गई तो कलंक का टीका तो लगेगा ही साथ ही बार एसो. को अपूर्णनीय हानि भी होगी। ऐसे हालातों में बार एसोसिएशन का चुनाव कराकर वकीलों के जीवन के साथ खिलवाड़ करना उचित नहीं होगा।
पिछले वर्ष भी कोरोना के कारण सम्मानित पदाधिकारियों ने कोरोना महामारी को कुछ शांत होने पर ही चुनाव कराया था। वर्तमान हालातों को देखते हुए अनुरोध है कि 31 जुलाई 2021 को बार एसोसिएशन के होने वाले वार्षिक चुनाव को स्थगित करते हुए 21 मार्च 2022 को कराए जाने के लिए प्रस्ताव पारित कराया जाए ।
