गोवर्धन। संत केशव दास की स्मृति में गांठौली में नव वर्ष के अवसर पर लगातार आठवीं बार विशाल दौड प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन हुआ। मुख्य संयोजक कलुआ ठाकुर व ग्राम विकास समिति गांठौली द्वारा प्रतियोगिता का सफल आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मुख्य अतिथि समाजसेवी सुरेन्द्र कौशिक ने संत केशव दास की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर किया।
दौड़ प्रतियोगिता तीन वर्गों में आयोजित की गई जिसमें 5000 मीटर में तुलसी प्रथम भानु द्वितीय तथा संजय तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। 1600 मीटर में पवन प्रथम
पालेन्दर द्वितीय तथा अशोक तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। इसी प्रकार 400 मीटर में कुणाल प्रथम, मनोज द्वितीय तथा पुष्पेन्द्र तृतीय स्थान पर रहे।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि सुरेन्द्र कौशिक ने युवाओ को प्रतियोगिताओ में भागीदारी कर अपने व्यक्तित्व विकास करने पर बल दिया। मुख्य अतिथि सुरेन्द्र कौशिक शेखर मुखिया तथा रविकांत कौशिक ने बच्चों को शील्ड तथा मेडल तथा ग्राम विकास समिति के अध्यक्ष भरत सिंह ने बच्चों को प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किये। कार्यक्रम का संचालन नरेंद्र मुखिया ने किया।
इस मौके पर अशोक सैनी हीरालाल निरोती सैनी देवेन्द्र मास्टर रूप सिंह राणा नरेंद्र ठाकुर जगन मुखिया होशियार ठाकुर विनोद सैनी बृजमोहन सैन दुर्गपाल सिंह कृष्णा जांगिड़ हेमन्त कुमार नरेश पवन रामप्रकाश शर्मा रामबीर सिंह आदि गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।
