लखनऊ। बहुजन समाज पार्टी की मुखिया मायावती के कभी बेहद खास रहे पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री नसीमुद्दीन सिद्दीकी का कद अब कांग्रेस में भी बढ़ रहा है। आल इंडिया कांग्रेस कमेटी ने सिद्दीकी को उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी में मीडिया विभाग के चेयरमैन बनाया है। इसके साथ ही सतीश अजमानी को उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी में कोषाध्यक्ष बनाया गया है।
कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी ने नसीमुद्दीन सिद्दीकी को उत्तर प्रदेश में मीडिया और संचार विभाग का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। बहुजन समाज पार्टी के पूर्व मंत्री सिद्दीकी 2018 में कांग्रेस में शामिल हुए थे। उन्हें 2016 के एक मामले के सिलसिले में पिछले महीने गिरफ्तार किया गया था।
माना जा रहा है कि कांग्रेस ने बसपा मुखिया के कभी दाहिना हाथ रहे नसीमुद्दीन सिद्दीकी को अहम पद देकर उत्तर प्रदेश के विधानसभा चुनाव 2022 से पहले मास्टरस्ट्रोक खेला है। प्रदेश में बुंदेलखंड के कद्दावर नेता नसीमुद्दीन सिद्दीकी बसपा से विधान परिषद सदस्य थे। बसपा से बाहर होने के बाद पार्टी ने उनकी सदस्यता भी समाप्त करा दी थी। इसके बाद कांग्रेस में शामिल होने वाले नसीमुद्दीन सिद्दीकी को प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी की मीडिया सेल का चेयरमैन बनाया गया है। मिशन 2022 की तैयारी में जुटी कांग्रेस ने पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय महासचिव तथा उत्तर प्रदेश की प्रभारी प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा को उत्तर प्रदेश में मुख्यमंत्री फेस प्रोजेक्ट करने की तैयारी में है। इसी क्रम में पहले मीडिया सेल को मजबूत किया जा रहा है।
