नई दिल्ली। महिलाओं के कपड़ों को लेकर उत्तराखंड के नवनियुक्त मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत का बयान तूल पकड़ रहा है। गुरुवार को राज्यसभा में प्रियंका चतुर्वेदी ने ‘फटी जींस’ का मामला उठाया और पूछा कि क्या गंभीर मुद्दों की देश में कमी हो गई है कि महिलाओं के कपड़ों पर बयान दिया जा रहा है।
शिवसेना सांसद प्रियंका चतुर्वेदी ने गुरुवार को उच्च सदन में कहा कि देश के सामने कई गंभीर विषय हैं, जिन पर चिंतन करने के साथ त्वरित जरूरी कदम उठाए जाने की जरूरत है। इसके बावजूद कुछ लोग महिलाओं के कपड़ों पर टिप्पणी करने में समय खर्च कर रहे हैं। महिलाओं को फटी जींस पहनने पर गैर संस्कारी कहा जा रहा है। उन्होंने पूछा कि आखिर इस प्रकार के मुद्दों को चर्चा का केंद्र बनाने का क्या मतलब है?
प्रियंका चतुर्वेदी ने सदन में दिल्ली-एनसीआर में प्रदूषण की स्थिति को लेकर भी गंभीर कदम उठाए जाने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि आज प्रदूषण की समस्या सबसे विकराल है। इस कारण वैश्विक स्तर पर सात मिलियन प्री-मैच्योर बच्चों की मौतें हो रही हैं। पिछले तीन वर्षों से दिल्ली विश्व और देश का सबसे प्रदूषित शहर साबित हुआ है। भारत के 30 में से 22 शहर विश्व में सबसे ज्यादा प्रदूषित शहरों की सूची में हैं।
